“High Torque, High Efficiency, High Quality, Low Power Consumption, Low Noise, and Low Carbon Emissions”

SEYI’s energy-saving but highly-efficient C Frame Direct-drive Servo Press assists you toward Net Zero Goals

The latest launch of C Frame Direct-drive Servo Press SDN1 series, ranging from 80ton to 250ton, completes SEYI’s servo press lineup. This series is suitable for various stamping processes such as cutting, blanking, and drawings. Whether a stand-alone, tandem line, progressive or transfer die are applicable. Equipped with a new-generation servo motor, the size is more compact but more powerful. The energy-saving performance reaches the optimal level. Its power consumption is only a half compared to a conventional one. Therefore, the carbon footprint of your stamped parts can be largely reduced. SDN1 series is your best partner under Net Zero trend.

1.     Direct-drive transmission

A direct-drive design was adopted without flywheels and a deceleration mechanic. The servo motor integrates the pinion shaft directly into the motor. Thus, reaching better accuracy and energy efficiency for a press. Meanwhile, this direct-drive motor type can increase speed and stroke optimization with much less vibration throughout the process, enhancing end product quality and productivity.

2.     In-house designed servo motor

SEYI’s motors with their low speed, high-torque characteristics are applicable to form high-strength steel, aluminum and other difficult-to-form materials. By using an optimized motion control, servo presses can eliminate spring-backs or cracks with a much lower tool wear rate.

Besides, SEYI’s servo presses adopt fan cooling system to maintain the servo motor performance. Customers can save a large amount of money in additional water-cooling system as well as power bills.

3.     Energy Management

With power leveling design, the voltage of the power source can be still stable without a sudden increase. Meanwhile, a servo motor can regenerate power. When the electrical energy converts into mechanical energy for machine movement, the reaction of the movement can convert mechanical energy into electrical energy. By using capacitors, the power can be stored and recycled.

4.     Low noise

The stamping noise can be largely lessened at least 15dB compared to the stamping noise on a traditional press. The working environment gets better.

Other product features

The use of servo presses in the metal stamping industry is becoming increasingly popular due to its energy-saving advantages. The reduction in energy consumption and material waste contributes to carbon reduction, assisting manufacturers to achieve a balance between emitting carbon and absorbing it from the atmosphere. The adoption of servo presses will be a significant step for environmental protection.
