Castrol will be present at MACH from March 15-19 in Birmingham, offering interviews and consultations with experts on high performance gear oils and lubricants at the booth.

The Optigear Synthetic PD ES gear oil segment with MFT-PD technology, the MolubAlloy range of lubricating greases, and the Tribol lubricants will be the main focus at MACH.

Richard Pitt, Industrial Sales Manager for North Europe, said: “In a year when Castrol celebrate 125 years, myself and the Castrol team are delighted to be back at MACH showcasing our premium lubrication solutions across a diverse range of industrial applications. Our team of experts will be on hand to advise on the latest lubrication technologies and to help our customers optimise their production even in the most demanding environments. Whether seeking environmentally responsible total cost metalworking solutions, or a high-performance lubrication programme for high value assets, we look forward to welcoming you to Castrol at MACH.”

Optigear Synthetic PD ES with MFT-PD technology
Castrol’s Optigear range helps companies reduce costs by reducing friction and optimizing efficiency. The gear oil actively smoothens surfaces without depositing or removing material, which in turn reduces pressure, eliminates friction, and causes less wear and tear on the machinery.

Molub-Alloy product range
The Castrol Molub-Alloy range comprises high-performance lubricating greases and pastes that form a protective layer, absorb pressure, and prevent component failures.
Castrol Molub-Alloy utilizes a unique and innovative additive that contains layered solid elements. These solids form a layer that remains extremely strong under pressure but shears easily when the metal moves to prevent bonding and subsequent damage. Unlike soluble extreme pressure (EP) additives, no chemical reaction occurs. This means that it is never consumed but rather acts on the unevenness of the metal surfaces to provide optimal protection. Castrol’s technical team can identify unique cost-saving and efficiency opportunities in production facilities, including waste and product reduction, recycling, or recovery.

Castrol Tribol
In today’s competitive economy, manufacturing companies must ensure that their equipment works effectively and that unplanned failures are avoided. About 60% of mechanical failures are due to poor lubrication – given that one component can have multiple lubrication points and different schedules, it poses a significant risk. The solution is a lubricant that one can trust, which is precisely what Castrol Tribol provides. Its wide range of advanced lubricants adapted to different operating conditions can support complex industrial applications. Castrol Tribol is formulated to extend the life of equipment, offer wear and corrosion protection in different operating environments, and reduce costs by extending lubrication cycles and reducing downtime. Castrol’s fluid engineers have used their extensive expertise to formulate Tribol product variants suitable for a broad range of applications.
