MACH 2021 Site Rules

MACH 2020 is a CDM Site please read the Site Rules and Proceedure and ensure that all staff who are onsite during the build-up and breakdown have read and understood these regulations.

STOP THE DROP!

Stop the Drop

The MTA as the owners of MACH support the 'Stop The Drop' campaign designed to promote safe working practices when working at height. The Stop The Drop website contains, toolbox talks, information sheets and safety planning tools specifically tailored to exhibitors, organisers and contractors.

Please take a moment to review the information and resources available on the site and help us to ensure that everyone on site is safe whilst working at height.

*Personal Protective Equipment - Hard hats and high visibility jackets are required. Safety shoes are strongly recommended and mandatory in lifting areas. Open shoes are not permitted anywhere on site during the build and break periods. Limited numbers of hard hats and high visibility jackets will be available to purchase from the organisers.

All shell stands must be cleared of fittings before 2200 but this does not apply to machinery exhibits on shell scheme stands which are on the designated lift schedule

PLEASE NOTE THERE IS NO ACCESS TO THE HALLS FOR CONTRACTORS UNTIL 18:00 AND HIGH VISIBILITY VEST AND CONTRACTOR WRISTBANDS WILL BE REQUIRED.

PLEASE NOTE: The first two hours immediately after the show closes on the last day (Thursday 28/01/21), have been dedicated for exhibit decommissioning. During this time all exhibit power will remain live to allow for decommissioning and removal of oil from exhibits; the power will be turned off at 1800 unless an extension is requested with the appointed electrical contractor - GES. For obvious health and safety reasons, there will be no vehicle movement within the exhibition halls until 1800 hours, or such time as it is safe to do so.
