Space selling fast for MACH 2020
With just under a year to go until the UK’s premier manufacturing technologies exhibition, over 75% of space has now sold for MACH 2020.
After a hugely successful 2018 edition of the Exhibition, which boasted a 5% increase in trade visitors on 2016 and over £200 million worth of business attributed to the show, things are looking good for a repeat of this in 2020.
MACH 2020 will take an in-depth look at the latest technological advances in and around the advanced manufacturing sector. Hot topics for discussion at the show will include Industry 4.0 and the interconnectivity of machines, Additive Manufacturing and cyber security, to name but a few.
MTA’s Head of Events James Fudge said: “We’re really excited by the developments of the MACH sales process, we’ve seen a lot of returning exhibitors increase the size of their stands and commit to attending the show. MACH is the only place to see a fully integrated picture of the UK manufacturing sector, so, we’d encourage all companies wishing to book a stand for MACH 2020 to act quickly to secure their space.”
Dan Stephenson, Sales Manager at Pryor Marking, said: “In terms of contacts and leads we generate MACH is the biggest show for us and that’ll be continuing in 2020.”
With reference to their experiences at MACH 2018, Martin Elliott, MD of Delapena Group, added: “We’ve been doing the show for 20 years now and this has to be by far the best one we’ve attended. Normally we wouldn’t sell a machine straight off the stand, that’s quite rare for us. But, in 2018 we sold four of the five machines we’ve exhibited, which is incredible for us being a small company like ours.”
