MACH 2018 shortlisted for two Exhibition News Awards
MACH 2018 is already an award-winning show, having gained the Exhibition of the Year accolade at the prestigious Trade Association Forum (TAF) Best Practice Awards and Dinner, 2018.
The show is still attracting plaudits and has been shortlisted for two prizes at the 13th edition of the Exhibition News (EN) Awards - for Best Trade Show, and Best Feature Area for MACH's collaboration with the AMRC on the Factory 2050 area.
James Fudge, Head of Events for the MTA, said: "It is a real honour to be nominated for these two awards. MACH 2018 was a great success and being recognised and shortlisted by our peers is a fantastic achievement in itself. We're hoping to be successful on awards night.
Nicola Macdonald, EN editor, commented: "This year has seen a fantastic depth and breadth of entries, from those new to the awards as well as some familiar faces. We can't wait to welcome the industry back to Battersea for another great evening, celebrating the very best of our industry."
MACH 2018 delivered for its exhibitors with a five per cent increase in trade visitors. In the post-show exhibitor questionnaire, 95 per cent of respondents said that they had generated leads for their sales teams to follow-up, 77 per cent of exhibitors reported improved customer relations over the course of the show and 80 per cent of exhibitors raised their company profile by attending the exhibition.
With over 25,000 visitors across a five-day period, MACH prides itself on creating an audience with real buying power, with over £200 million worth of business attributed to the 2018 event.
