The (big) boys are back in town!
MACH 2012 is gearing up apace, with more tooling companies, more machines and more space taken by exhibitors. There are now only 10 months to go before the doors open to the UK’s premier manufacturing technologies show, to be staged at the NEC from 16 to 20 April 2012. With British manufacturing leading the UK’s economic recovery, MACH 2012 is taking place at a pivotal time for all those associated with the manufacturing technologies sector. Space is selling fast, and a bumper show is forecast for 2012.
Graham Dewhurst, Director General at the Manufacturing Technologies Association (MTA) which owns and runs the show, says,
“There is a real buzz about the show already, and exhibitors are looking forward to the ‘bounce’ in sales that MACH delivers, particularly as the UK’s economic situation improves and we see more capital investment. We’ve got some big names signed up and they’ve committed to bringing more machines and new hardware in 2012 - which is great news for our visitors.”
Mills CNC Ltd is one company who are investing big in MACH 2012. Managing Director, Nick Frampton, says,
"The MACH show is the only event where you get to meet customers who are, as yet, unknown to you and to whom you have a chance to present your products, your company and its values. It really enables you to differentiate the service you offer and the style of your company. For MACH 2012 we will have several new models to launch and have taken a 600sq metre stand, the largest in our history, to showcase the new technology from Doosan and Mills."
Sales Director at Mazak, Tony Saunders, explains the opportunity that exhibiting at MACH provides;
“We are very pleased to be taking a large and prominent space at MACH 2012 as this will enable us to display a selection of exciting new machine tools representing the Mazak range, which has over 200 models in total. We will be introducing even more new machines over the next year and MACH 2012 represents the first opportunity for many UK manufacturing companies to see them in live metal-cutting action. We know that at MACH we will meet businesses that are new to Mazak as well as many existing customers, all of whom will be interested in the productivity and profitability improvements our new machines can offer."
John Reed, Managing Director of CGTech Ltd – another business looking forward to MACH 2012 – comments,
“MACH is the most important show in our calendar. It brings together the leading machine tool builders, distributors, equipment suppliers and CAD/CAM software companies – we simply have to be there.”
