Bowers’ Tough New Shop-Floor Caliper

Bowers Metrology UK has launched an advanced new ‘shop floor proof’ digital caliper. Manufactured by the renowned Swiss Metrology manufacturer Sylvac, the 150mm capacity S_Cal ONE employs Sylvac’s patented, inductive measuring system, giving the robust caliper an impressive accuracy specification whilst rendering it resistant to the ingress of water and coolant.

Designed to operate within harsh measuring environments, the cost effective S_Cal ONE caliper is manufactured from materials that are able to withstand extended shop floor use, such as within close proximity to machine tools.

Ideal for internal, external and depth measurements, the new S_Cal ONE boasts a large 9.6 mm digit, hi-resolution LCD readout for displaying its findings, whilst a simple 2-button intuitive operating system gives the user easy access to a range of features, such as a metric/inch conversion and a zero setting.
