Senor Ruggedised Industrial Touch Screen Computers Now Available from Seiki Systems

Seiki Systems Ltd has extended its industrial hardware solution offering with the addition of the Senor touch screen computer.

Organisations need to be more agile in today's highly competitive market and this has resulted in a demand for integrated, real time systems to help maximise operational efficiency and productivity. Solutions that facilitate the easy flow of data throughout the organisation by being able to electronically distribute and collect essential process data to and from the work place operative requires a robust platform that can effectively and reliably support this process.

Senor is a ruggedised industrial solution (IP66 rated) specifically developed for use in vigorous environments. It is ideally suited for delivering full screen applications to the shop floor, enabling the user to view production information directly on screen, whilst also supporting factory data collection tasks and DNC operations. Available with a 15” or 17" TFT touch screen, this industrial PC is well suited for a broad spectrum of applications in the manufacturing and automation industries. A flexible solution, the Senor is available with either MS® Windows® XP Professional or Windows® 7 Professional operating systems, audio and visual support, and sufficient interfaces/ports to suit user requirements. The unit also has an operating temperature of -20°C to +60°C, which combined with its fanless design and IP protection rating extends the accessibility of our systems to areas that non-industrialised units are less suited. The combination of Seiki software and industrial rugged computers provides users with a robust shop floor data collection, visualisation and communications solution. Benefiting from a range of mounting solutions, the Senor also helps reduce the footprint on the shop floor.
